About Dr. Ankur Gautam
Dr. Ankur Gautam is a highly accomplished Senior Interventional Cardiologist with over 14 years of experience in clinical and interventional cardiology. Trained at the prestigious GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi, and a former consultant there, he has independently performed over 10,000 coronary angioplasties, including complex CTO, Left Main, bifurcation, multivessel, and IVUS/OCT-guided interventions. He has also performed over 1,000 cardiac device implantations, including pacemakers, ICDs, CRT-P, CRT-D, and conduction system pacing.
With extensive expertise in advanced coronary, structural heart, and peripheral vascular interventions, Dr. Gautam combines technical precision with evidence-based clinical decision-making to provide comprehensive and personalized cardiac care.
An active academician and researcher, he has authored more than 20 scientific publications and book chapters. He received the Col. K.L. Chopra Award for Best Original Research in Cardiology, secured Rank 1 in the UPSC examination for Specialist Grade III (Cardiology), and placed All India Rank 18 in NEET-SS and All India Rank 72 in NEET-PG.
